ANNOUNCEMENTS:

JACK: In last weeks Bull-a-ton I mentioned the Christmas Auction on the 28th, and that I would like everybody who reads the Bull-a-ton to come to the dinner. The next day I sent out a memo asking everyone to respond as to if they are coming and how many people they will be bringing, so that we can tell the Hall and have the food etc. Wayne Wood responded right away that they can’t make it, and Russ Begin said he and Linda are coming. Syd Harmon of Heart Lake said he was coming but later cancelled due to the Beast Hockey game that night. We can’t have an Auction with just the four of us Jack, Pauline, Russ & Linda. So maybe we should cancel, but now all of a sudden 8 members say they are coming. That’s great and if they all bring some guests it will be worth while. My count is about 25, which is about half of what we need. So everyone please ask your family, neighbors, friends and all former members, if we have at least 50 people and we all have stuff to auction off it will be a fun night, and David Harvey will be happy, because he loves a fun night.

JEREMY: He will be in court next week so can’t be at the meeting, he will be in touch with the Salvation Army and St. Louise Outreach to come to next weeks meeting for the Christmas Drive.

THE DRAW:

RAY won, but something was very funny about it, he sold the tickets, then he, Martin and Dannie where counting and sorting the tickets, then had Wayne pull a ticket from the bucket and low and behold it was his, very suspicious?

HAPPY BUCKS:

JEREMY: Son had a hockey tournament in Niagara Falls. Cost him $300. in booze at a bar, one of the fathers ended up in jail, and son’s team came in 2nd. Great weekend.

RANDY: Went to his surgeon’s office, found out that he is getting his hip surgery on March 14. The house in the Buffalo area he put an offer on is getting close, could be finalized this week. Will know soon.

TED: Happy to be here, getting stronger and feeling better, thanked Jack for doing his bingo turn.

D MAC: Had a great time in Mexico.

D WAC: Jeremy just had his 50th birthday; lets all wish him the best. This made him think that one of the youngest members is now 50, which means we got to go out and find some younger members. Any new members would be great, but younger than 50 would be better.

JACK: Former member Don White is home from the hospital. He had 5 bypasses done. Not splints, that would have be too easy, he had 5 bypass surgeries. No wonder he was in so long. He is quite weak; I spoke to him today and told him he owes me a buck for this happy buck that I am giving. He said I have to come and collect it.

Also Doug Irwin, good friend of our Club, his wife Joan just got out of the Hospital with a new knee. She is recovering nicely but will take a while yet. Nice to have 2 fairly good news Happy Bucks.
