BRAMALEA ROTARY BULL-A-TON for FEB. 25, 2014
SARGENT AT ARMS REPORT:
To day we have 10 members and one guest, REUT; we can call her Ray, who is our guest speaker. The word for today is COMMUNICATION. When I got here, our waitress JEN was in a bit of a mood, I asked if was because she missed us last week,( we where at HABITAT ), she said it was because she came in specifically on her day off to set up for us only to fid out we didn’t show. She was slightly, and rightly P O’ed. I checked with RANDY when he came in and he said he had called the day before and left a message which she didn’t get. We should have told her the week before, and who ever got Randy’s message should have told her. Bad communications. Speaking of that we missed another BINGO assignment, we have 4 teams, each with 3 members, and a schedule for the whole year printed out. The upcoming dates are printed in the Bull-a-ton every week but yet we still miss assignments. RUSS got a fairly blunt letter from the Bingo People saying that that was our 3rd strike and we should be out. The have agreed to give us one more chance but if we miss another assignment, we will lose our only source of revenue. We need that money; we have already committed it to charities, so no more screw ups, teams must communicate and make sure your turn is covered.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
RANDY: Board meeting this Tue Mar. 3, 4:45 at Pres. Rays House. There is not a noon meeting on March 25. We will be meeting in Guelph on the 23rd with the R I President.
HAPPY BUCKS:
JEREMY: His wife Stacy, has her last round of therapy, and is doing pretty good.
NORBERT: Had a showing of his Art at a Gallery Downtown Brampton, and sold most of his stock. He has the Gallery booked for 2 weeks,( June 20 ), this summer.
DANNIE & RUSS: Both read a joke, okay, in fact our speaker wanted Russ’s for her work because it was about old people.

GUEST SPEAKER:
TINA introduced Reut, (Ray) Marketing Director for Bramalea Retirement Residence. It was a surprise to her, she was a last minute replacement for the person who was to talk to us, she made her presentation short, and invited us to have a meeting at the Bramalea Retirement Residence and we can have a tour of the place.
Some of will know it well, 20 years ago we hosted our District Conference there, it was the Holiday Inn at Bramalea City Centre then, it is now a Senior Retirement Residence, and it looks great, They will be officially open this Friday and it looks like a place worth checking out.
