TINA: Was at the same event and agrees it was great and the food was best ever. (Haggis was good????)

JEREMY: Stacy has been having treatments so he has trouble getting here, today he could. Had a slight accident in his car, slide broadside into the curb trying to avoid someone, did a lot of damage to his steering and undercarriage.

NORBERT: Happy Catherine is here, really really happy. Also got a nice cheque.???

DANNIE: Read 3 jokes, all pretty good, (must have got a new writer.)

GYAN: away for the next 5 weeks, going to India.

GLENN: House is nice and toasty, thanks to TED, something went on the furnace and the temp in the house went down to 12 degrees, thankfully it was not too serious and Ted’s company could fix it right away.

SHANTA: Turned 60 on Jan 13, decided to have a party, while decorating, one of her relatives, moved a chair that she was sitting on, she didn’t know it was moved and fell back on here tailbone, severe pain. Another relative so happy to see her, picked her up in a bear hug and she thinks cracked a rib. She feels more like 80 than 60 now.

RAY; 63 years in Canada Eh.

RUSS: He discovered, if you have a bad cough, take a large dose of laxatives; then you’ll be afraid to cough, it works, try it.

THE DRAW:

GYAN, won so now he can stay another 5 weeks in India.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

PRES. RAY: Read a nice letter from Gord at the Salvation Army, thanking us for our donation at Christmas. Also Directors, meeting at his house next Tue. Feb. 3rd, 4:45

SPEAKER:

RUSS introduced Catherine Rivera from the Ste Louise Outreach Centre of Peel. She tells us that they have been serving the area for 33 years, and this past Christmas served 2,063 families. Very interesting to hear how they select and help people. RANDY presented her with a cheque for $5,000 from our club as part of our commitment to them.

They are still looking for a new building, as the one they have is too small. Any ideas?
