GUESTS:

PAULINE visited today hoping to see some of the other wives, but no such luck.

NIGEL & ABIGALE, DWAC’S two offspring, guess whose babysitting?

HAPPY BUCKS:

RANDY: Spent some time in Ottawa, where Tam met her long lost brother after 26 years. It was a great visit, and only the first of many he thinks.

NORBERT: Happy New Years to everyone. He is tired, too much partying.

JACK: Happy Pauline able to join him, her yoga starts again next week so no more Wednesday’s off. He is also very happy he shut his outside water tap off from inside the house in November, because it’s really cold outside these days.

NORBERT: Had a few choice words for this reporter because he didn’t. He got a phone call from a neighbor 1:30 am New Years, that water was gushing from his garage. They had to leave the party and go home to shut off his water, and clean up the mess. There is a lesson in there someplace for all of us, and a skating rink on Jaffa Road.

THE DRAW:

DMAC won again, he’s won every one this year, the phony.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

PRESIDENT JEREMY: Wants a Directors Meeting 11:30 Jan 23 before our regular noon meeting. He will be away Jan. 16th, Dannie will chair the meeting. We are trying to confirm with Dr. Bill Poncho (former member) to be our guest speaker on Wed. 16th, he will speak to us on the importance of eye care for us seniors, and everyone else too.   ……..{Bill if you get this Bull-a-ton, please answer to confirm the 16th.}……..

Feb. 2 is our Poker Tournament. Please get your players together. The more the better.

JACK: It was great to see former member MIKE MASON, at the New Years Eve game. He was at the first one 15 years ago and wanted to be at the last, not that he wanted it to be the last. The game was a success. The first prize was over $1800. And the 2nd was $1,000. And it was a good crowd with lots of sellers.

RANDY: Hockey this Thursday and Sunday.

( P.S. to that.) Thursday Jan 3rd. there were over 2200 fans at the game. Only 3 Rotarians. Randy, Wayne and Jack. Pay out was over $600. Thankfully we had Stephan there to help. He ran his butt off, he did upstairs and the stands all by himself, and sold over 3 books of 50/50 tickets and almost a full book of sweater tickets, without him we couldn’t have done it. 3 or 4 sellers is not enough, must have at least 6 or 7.

Where was everyone??????????? Look at your schedules.
