GUESTS:

ROBERT HARVEY, DWAC’S big brother, here for a visit.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

JACK:  Re Don White.  He read a letter he received from Lee White, Don’s wife. On Nov. 8th, Don had a heart attack. It wasn’t too severe but he had some problems with his kidneys. He didn’t have an angiogram till Nov. 14th which showed he had 100% blockage in 3 main arteries and 85-95% in several smaller ones. He needs to have bypass surgery but because of the blood thinners they have to wait 5-6 days. The used in the angiogram was hard on his kidneys so he has to wait for them to come to a safer level for the operation. As far as I know he is still at the St. Mary’s Hospital in Kitchener. I will keep you posted as soon as I here anything.

IRVING: He has ordered 60 Christmas Hams, so we will have some extra in case we need them. They will be delivered to Wayne’s Shop Dec. 11th.

TINA: She is singing in a Christmas show at the Rose Theatre, with the Peel Choral Society, on Sunday Dec. 1 2013, 7:00. Tickets are still available at the box office.

JACK: We are still having our Christmas Auction; it is on Sat. Dec. 28th. We twisted his arm and he finally said yes, so DWAC aka, David Harvey will be the auctioneer. It has the potential to be a fun night, but it won’t be if we only have a few people. We need as many members as possible, and they all should bring guests, we try to keep the cost down so it depends on the numbers and the meal. Please every member come and bring friends and stuff to auction off. We don’t have many functions anymore and it is time we start to get some life back into the club, but it won’t happen if we don’t put an effort out.

HAPPY BUCKS:

SHANTA: Sorry she has missed so many meeting, but she is still suffering effects from her operation and it wasn’t as successful as she first thought. She is mending but it has been a real up hill struggle. She can’t make the Christmas Auction but has promised to bring some fabulous things to auction off.

RANDY: Martin went to doctors last week and got a normal, which is good, EKG. So things are looking better, he is starting to get some energy back, just ask Sally Ann!

JEREMY: Sorry he missed last weeks meeting, and he thanked Norbert for chairing it for him, ( If only he knew that the only reason Norbert did was to get to the food first.)

He also has a fairly new and in great shape, couch, to give away. Contact him soon.

NORBERT::  Sad buck,   one year ago his father passed away.

ROBERT: Went to a Dog Lovers Party, had a great time, everyone brought food for the Food Bank, (Not dog food) they took it to the food bank and had a great time.

THE DRAW:

JEREMY: won.

NEW WORDS:

Osteopornosis:  A degenerate disease.

Karmageddon:   its like, when everybody is sending off all these really bad vibes, right? And then, like, the Earth explodes and it’s like, a serious bummer.
