BARKAT: Always a great pleasure to see all his old friends and to enjoy a real good meal with us, he particularly liked the cabbage soup today, thought it was delicious. ( His wife probably won’t like it later in the evening) He is also happy that his scholarship program is cooking and it should be going by 2014.

JEREMY: His wife Stacy, has been on jury duty for the last 2 weeks, it is a murder trial involving a gang and it has been very stressful and depressing and it is really starting to get her down. Too bad it has to drag on so long and still no end in sight, and she can’t even talk about it to help her deal with it.

TED: 2 happy bucks, busy at work, has a great Halloween costume that he can’t wear.

D MAC: Went to Niagara for 2 nights, Marg got lucky but he didn’t.

NORBERT: He put  a sample of his work in a tile store, and they sold 2 pieces of his art work on tile the first day. His mother is 84, she had to take her drivers test, he drove her there because she doesn’t drive, but she passed her test anyway. Go figure?

JEREMY: PDG Bob Palmatier, is looking for nominees for D G. If you want to nominate somebody let him know. He also wanted to thank SHANTA for helping him distribute 250 World Polio Day Pamphlets last Thursday, at the GO Station.

Sunday Feb. 16, 2014 is the date set for our next Poker Tournament. We have done better with each one and this one we have a few months notice so we have lots of time to invite lots of players, the more the better and the more we make.

Sorry for the switch in today’s meeting, with his wife in court all day and 2 kids at home, plus hockey commitment from him and a few other members, he felt that there wouldn’t be enough members able to make an evening meeting. He understands that some where upset, and he apologizes. He will try to schedule a Club Assembly in the near future.

JACK:  Half the schools have been called, 8 have been completed, 2 more this week and if you want to help distribute Dictionaries contact me or Wayne.
